Lift Ticket tech info

Placement:

From stage right to stage left, in a semicircle, our usual sitting/standing order is: fiddle, mandolin, piano/guitar, with percussion either stage left or set back behind and between the mandolin and piano.

Monitors:

We prefer one monitor mix per person. Failing that, at least 2 monitor mixes, with the addition of a small amplifier which can be plugged into the keyboard. At any rate we need at least two to three actual monitors: one for fiddle and mandolin, one for piano/guitar and one for percussion.

Keyboard:

We require a high quality keyboard to be provided. The keyboard needs to be a full size 88 key weighted keyboard with a good piano sound and, ideally, good bass, organ and electric piano sounds. We especially prefer Roland (FP3 or FP5) keyboards as well as an appropriate piano stool or bench (significantly taller than a chair) and a keyboard stand.

Fiddle:

Requires 1 channel & associated xlr which will connect to Rex's D.I.

Mandolin:

1 mic on boom, 1 xlr for a clip-on.

Piano/guitar:

1 XLR with DI for keyboard (see above). 1 XLR with DI and one mic for guitar.

Percussion:

At least 3 mics - talk to our drummer.
