Workshops

Lift Ticket offers a popular band workshop, generally called "Anything But Boring: Playing with a Dance Band vs. Playing with Yourself!", that explores subtle and not-so-subtle aspects of fusing the tunes, the treatment, and the dance (see below). We also offer workshops on our various individual instruments: fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and piano. We love leading jam sessions. Seth teaches singing workshops at most dance weekends we play it, and these have been very popular. TJ offers a cool workshop called "The Embodied Beat".
