Technical Requirements

For Dances:
Rex needs 2 channels - one XLR input for acoustic fiddle, another XLR for electric fiddle, as well as a mic stand, no boom (for Rex to hang his setup). Rex would prefer an individual monitor mix.

Rex strongly prefers the band to be elevated, at least 24 in., above the dance floor. This enables the band to better observe/facilitate the dancers, and hear over the floor noise, resulting in lower monitor levels and better sound quality.

For a concert, bar, or private venue:
Please CONTACT Rex or the appropriate band leader to discuss technical details.

Stage Layout:
Rex usually plays Stage Right of the other musicians, and always prefers to be Stage Right of the piano.
